Blackberry Mobile is planning to release its upcoming phone Blackberry key2 in the first week of June. We have found few images of the phone that show how the phone looks like. A user on Twitter has leaked the images of Blackberry Key 2 from different poses that reveal a sleek, thin device with more rounded QWERTY keyboard.
Multiple sources confirmed the company’s event would be on June 7, 2018 in New York to unveil its new device. The leaks confirmed the name of the phone and it would be Blackberry KEY2, not KEYTWO.
According to TENNA’s listing, the new phone would not be a major upgrade when compared to its predecessor. The KEY2 will feature a QWERTY keyboard, 4.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1620 x 1080 pixels and aspect ratio of 3:2. The device may also sport the Snapdragon 660 chipset with 6GB of RAM.
We have learned that KEY2 phone features a dual camera on the backside with 12 and 8MP sensors while the previous version of the device KEYONE featured a single camera. But the surprising aspect of the KEY2 (3360mAh) is that it will have a battery lower than the KEYONE (3505 mAh).
For other features of the phone, it will have 64GB of storage, 8MP selfie camera, a fingerprint scanner, a headphone jack, microSD card and a better speaker. As the phone will have Android Oreo so the users can expect a lot of features and pop-up widgets.
This phone will come with a better design than its predecessor and features an improved keyboard. When it comes to the price of the upcoming device, there is no confirmation yet. However, the experts believe this device will be cheaper than the earlier version that was launched with a $550 price tag.
