Advance Telecom achieves Top Tax Payer award in Pakistan

Taxation in Pakistan is the weakest area for the government and handset industry is not known for paying the amount of taxes it should contribute to the national kitty.

But there is an exception, the government of Pakistan has recognized advance telecom for making 3rd largest tax contribution in Pakistan.

Advance telecom is the official and exclusive partner of HMD Global for Nokia phones and accessories in Pakistan, and apart from the Nokia products, it also works with leading cellular operators including Jazz, Ufone, and Telenor.

The award that was given to Advance Telecom for the year 2018 by the Prime Minister of Pakistan makes the mobile phone company top taxpayer in the handset industry.

Rizwan Majid, Founder and President of Advance Telecom joyously expressed, “we have become the third largest taxpayer in Pakistan and the topmost contributor in the handset industry.”

“We will continue with our practice of keeping the trade as much transparent as possible,” he further added.

He thanked all of its partner distributors and the people of Pakistan for entrusting the company in their lives without them the recognition would not have been possible.

The company became the distributor of Nokia phones back in 2006.
