2018 editions of Nokia 2, 3, 5 likely to launch at May’s end

HMD Global event has just been scheduled in Moscow, Russia on May 29. Although we are not sure about what will be announced, we are highly expecting a launch of the 2018 editions of Nokia 2, 3, 5.

The company sent out media invites for the event which states that the CEO Florian Seiche, CMO Pekka Rantala, and CPO Juho Sarvikas will also attend. It will be held between 7 PM and 9 PM local time. With the three top executives attending the HMD Global event, we think that major product launches could be in the folds.

Two days earlier, the company unveiled its Nokia X6 in China. Despite being a China-exclusive phone it is likely that the phone will go for global sale soon. Reportedly the company is also working on the Nokia X5 and Nokia X7 smartphones which could potentially launch at the event in Russia. Unlike the X6, both the phones are rumoured to go for sale in international markets.

With all said, the company is not likely to confirm what it’s going to launch but considering that last year’s Nokia 3 went on sale in June and Nokia 5 arrived in July, 2018 editions of Nokia 2, 3, 5 likely seem to be the candidates for HMD Global event.
